Altimate Medical Acquires ActiveAid
Altimate Medical, Inc. has acquired Activeaid, Inc., as of May 1, 2018. Altimate and ActiveAid have shared synergies in the marketplace and both product portfolios complement and strengthen each other. Altimate Medical intends to continue operating the ActiveAid business in the Redwood Falls, MN facility.
Activeaid, Inc., a Minnesota-based manufacturer of quality medical equipment since 1965, specializes in the rehabilitation field. The diverse product lines, proudly made in the USA, address a range of uses from daily care assistance in the home environment, to products designed for the hospital and institutional market.
As a result of the acquisition, Todd Tholkes, President and CEO of Altimate Medical will assume leadership of Activeaid. “Activeaid has been a strategic partner to Altimate Medical for 30 plus years and we look forward to leveraging some of Altimate Medical’s strengths to sustain and help grow the Activeaid business.
