Course Description:
Hip dysplasia/displacement is one of the most common orthopedic issues for children with Cerebral Palsy. Approximately 1/3 of children with cerebral palsy will develop hip dysplasia/displacement. If left untreated hip dysplasia/displacement can progress to partial or complete dislocation causing pain, limited function, and decreased quality of life for those affected. This course will discuss the management of hip dysplasia/displacement for children with cerebral palsy including evaluation and treatments.
