Course Description: Spina bifida presents unique challenges throughout the lifespan, impacting musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional development. Supported standing is a key intervention that can influence the individual’s health and function. This course explores the evolving role of supported standing across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood for individuals with spina bifida. Participants will examine the evidence base, clinical decision-making strategies, and practical considerations for incorporating supported standing technology into daily routines and long-term care planning.
