Course Description: The world of complex rehab technology(CRT) can be confusing. This course provides an overview of the CRT team and the collaborative roles required to successfully access and implement CRT for individuals with complex mobility needs. Participants will review the fundamentals of obtaining CRT through the example of supported standing devices, including referral, evaluation, documentation, funding, and delivery processes. Practical strategies for providing effective CRT training across the continuum of care will be discussed. Case examples will illustrate team-based decision-making, common challenges, and best practices.
