Our Story

AltimateMedical designs and manufactures differentiated medical equipment in multiple sectors of the healthcare industry. Since its founding in 1987, AltimateMedical and its EasyStand line are known for being first to market with several products, features, and functionality in the standing device category.
AltimateMedical has since expanded its product portfolio with Zing in 2015 and made acquisitions of well-known and respected brands within the healthcare capital equipment market via MedicalPositioning that same year. AltimateMedical then expanded further into the complex rehab technology market with complementary designers and manufacturers of rehabilitative medical equipment such as ActiveAid in 2018, Therafin in 2025, and Leggero in 2026.

These include several distinct and unique products that span multi-position and sit-to-stand standing devices, custom seating, specialized mobility platforms and accessories, shower/commode chairs, and a range of specialized diagnostic and imaging platforms.
